These terms of use form the contract between you, the merchant who uses Grandify, and Grandify. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. Read them together with our privacy policy.
1The service
Grandify is online software that lets merchants create and run online stores, receive their customers’ orders, confirm them and ship them with Algerian delivery companies. It includes the merchant app, a mobile app on the plans that offer it, and optional apps such as GrandiFlow, our order confirmation service.
Grandify supplies the tool. It is not the seller of the products offered in the stores and is not a party to the sales between merchants and their customers.
2Your account
- You must have reached the age of majority, have the capacity to enter into this contract, and use Grandify for your business.
- Give accurate and complete information (name, phone number, e-mail address, business and billing details) and keep it up to date. We may ask you to confirm your e-mail address.
- Keep your password secret; we recommend turning on two-step verification. You are responsible for what is done with your account, including by the team members you invite.
- Tell us without delay at support@grandify-dz.com if you suspect that someone is using your account without your permission.
3One account, several stores
Your account (your business) can hold several stores and a team, within the limits of your plan. The plan, its limits and its billing apply to the whole account, for all its stores together. You can archive a store: it goes offline and no longer counts towards your limit, and you can restore it later if your plan allows it.
The owner of the account chooses the members of the team, their roles and the stores they can access, and remains responsible for their use of the service.
4Plans and prices
Grandify is sold in plans billed for periods of 30 days. Each plan sets the number of orders per month for all your stores together, the number of stores and the size of the team (you included), and the features shown on our pricing page.
The plans and their prices today:
| Plan | Price per 30 days | Orders per month | Stores | Team (you included) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | 1,900 DZD | 200 | 1 | 1 |
| Growth | 4,000 DZD | 1,000 | 3 | 3 |
| Scale | 6,500 DZD | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
You can also pay for several months at once, at a discount: 3 months: 10 % off, 6 months: 15 % off and 12 months: 20 % off. The amount is the monthly price multiplied by the number of months, minus the discount, rounded down to the dinar.
Prices are in Algerian dinars (DZD). The amount to pay is calculated by our system and shown before you pay; the price shown when you pay applies to the whole period paid. We may change our prices: a new price never applies to a period already paid, and we announce it in advance.
Orders are counted when they arrive, per calendar month (Algiers time), for all your stores together; an unfinished order form recovered as an order counts once a member of your team confirms it. Test orders, duplicates and orders held as spam are not counted; cancelling an order does not take it off the count.
You can move to a higher plan at any time: the change is immediate, and the time left on your period is converted into days of the new plan in proportion to the prices. A move to a lower plan takes effect at the end of the period already paid, and your account must first fit within the smaller plan’s limits (for example by archiving stores).
Optional apps (such as GrandiFlow) are priced separately, as shown on the app’s page before you turn it on.
5Free trial
A new account starts with a free trial of 7 days, with the features of the Scale plan. No payment card is needed and nothing is charged automatically at the end.
During the trial: up to 2 stores and a team of up to 3.
There is one free trial per person: one per phone number and one per e-mail address. An account created with a phone number or an e-mail address that has already had a trial starts without a trial, and must choose a plan to see its new customers’ contact details.
6After the trial, beyond the limit, at the end of a period
Your stores keep selling: orders keep arriving whatever the state of your plan, except while your account is suspended or your stores are taken offline (below).
- Without an active plan (after the trial, or after a period that was not renewed), each new order is received, but its customer’s phone numbers, address and note stay hidden until you choose a plan. The name, wilaya, commune, products and totals remain visible.
- The same applies to the orders received beyond your plan’s monthly limit.
- When you choose a plan, or a larger one, the orders hidden during the last 30 days become visible, in the order they arrived, within the plan’s monthly limit.
- An order that was visible stays visible: nothing is hidden after the fact.
- Without an active plan, you cannot create a store, invite a team member, connect a domain or enter an order by hand.
When a paid period ends without renewal, you have a grace period of 3 days during which everything keeps working, unless you had asked to stop the plan. After that, the rules above apply.
Reaching your limit never suspends your account. We remind you before the end of your trial and of each period, in the app and by e-mail.
7Payment
- Payment with a proof: you pay with one of the methods shown on the payment page, then upload the receipt in the app. Our team checks it; your plan starts or is renewed once the payment is approved. A proof that does not match the amount or cannot be verified is refused.
- Online payment: when it is offered, you pay by EDAHABIA or CIB card through Chargily Pay. Your plan starts as soon as Chargily confirms the payment. Chargily’s fees may apply, as shown before you pay.
A receipt for each approved payment is available in the app.
8Refunds
Fees are paid in advance for the chosen period. A period that has started is not refunded, except for a billing error on our side or where Algerian law requires it.
If you stop, or move to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the end of the period already paid.
9Acceptable use
You may only sell products and services that are lawful in Algeria. In particular, you must not:
- sell what Law No. 18-05 on e-commerce forbids to sell online, with or without an authorisation: gambling, betting and lotteries; alcoholic drinks and tobacco; pharmaceutical products; products that infringe intellectual, industrial or commercial property rights; goods or services whose sale requires an authentic act; and any goods or services the law prohibits;
- sell counterfeit goods or products that infringe the rights of others (trademarks, copyright, designs);
- sell products or services whose sale requires an authorisation, a licence or an approval that you do not hold;
- deceive customers: false or misleading descriptions, prices or promotions, fake reviews, products you do not intend to deliver;
- create fake orders, use several accounts to obtain several free trials, or try to get around the limits of your plan;
- send unsolicited messages, harass customers, or use their data for anything other than their orders and the lawful purposes you told them about;
- attack or overload the service, try to access other accounts or data, copy the service or resell it without our agreement.
As an online seller, you must also meet the obligations of Law No. 18-05 of 10 May 2018 on e-commerce and the consumer protection rules that apply to you, including the registration your activity requires, and clear information for your customers about your identity and contact details, the products, the prices in dinars with all taxes included, the delivery costs, times and terms, and the conditions of payment, exchange and return.
Your stores are hosted on our servers in Germany (see our privacy policy) and, unless you connect your own domain, are reached at an address under grandify-dz.com. Law No. 18-05 also has rules on the registration of online sellers and on the hosting and the domain name of their websites: it is up to you to check what they require for your activity, if needed with a legal adviser.
10You are the seller
- You alone are responsible for your products, their descriptions and images, your prices, your stock, the confirmation and delivery of your orders, returns, after-sales service and your taxes.
- Sales are made between you and your customers. Grandify does not collect the price of the orders: payment on delivery is settled between you and your delivery company.
- You are responsible, as controller in the sense of Law 18-07, for your customers’ data: you inform them in your store of how you use it (including that what they type in the order form is kept even when they do not send it, and the advertising pixels you turn on), you obtain their consent where the law requires it, you answer their requests, you use their data only for lawful purposes and you control who in your team can see it. Grandify processes this data on your behalf, under the next section.
- When you turn on a connected service (delivery company, advertising pixel, Telegram, GrandiFlow), you ask us to send it the data it needs. Each of these services has its own terms, and you are responsible for the accounts you connect.
11Processing of your customers’ data
For your customers’ data, you are the controller and Grandify is your processor, within the meaning of Law 18-07. By accepting these terms, you instruct us to process it as described here and in our privacy policy. We undertake to:
- process it only to provide the service, on your instructions: the settings you choose and the services you turn on. We never use it for our own purposes and never sell it;
- make sure that the people who can access it on our side (our support team and, when you turn GrandiFlow on, its agents) access only what their task needs and are bound to keep it confidential;
- protect it with the security measures described in our privacy policy;
- use only the providers listed in our privacy policy, for the purposes stated there, and update that list before a new provider receives your customers’ data;
- help you answer your customers’ requests (access, rectification, objection) and inform you without undue delay of an incident that affects their data;
- when the contract ends, delete your customers’ data or make it anonymous within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep. Before that, you can export your orders from the app.
You remain responsible for the lawful basis of the processing you decide, for informing your customers and for the services you connect.
12Intellectual property
Grandify, its software, its design and its brand belong to Grandify. While your account is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for your business. You may not copy, modify, decompile or resell it.
Your content (products, texts, images, logos) remains yours. You allow us to host, reproduce and display it as needed to run your stores and the service. We show your store on our own website (for example among the stores we showcase) only with your agreement. You guarantee that you hold the rights to the content you publish; we may remove content that is clearly unlawful once we are told about it.
13Availability and support
We do our best to keep the service available at all times and your data safe, but we cannot promise that it will never be interrupted: maintenance, updates, incidents at our providers or on the networks. We may change or improve features; if a change removes an important feature of your plan, we tell you in advance.
Support is available through the support section of the app and at support@grandify-dz.com. Keep your own copy of the information that matters to your business.
14Suspension and termination
You can stop using Grandify at any time: without renewal, your plan ends at the end of the period paid. To close your account, write to support@grandify-dz.com from the account owner’s e-mail address. Export your orders from the app first if you want to keep them: we then take your stores offline and, within 30 days, delete your account’s data or make it anonymous, as described in our privacy policy.
We may suspend your account if you seriously breach these terms (for example unlawful products or fraud), if your account endangers the security of the service or of other users, or at the request of a competent authority. While an account is suspended, its stores are offline and, in its dashboard, only Plan & billing, Business details, Help & support, the notifications and each member’s own account remain open. Contact us to learn the reason for the suspension and to answer it.
In case of a serious or repeated breach, or of a breach that is not corrected, we may end the contract and close the account. After the closure, your data is handled as described in our privacy policy.
15Liability
We provide the service with the care of a diligent professional. Within the limits allowed by Algerian law:
- we are not liable for indirect damage, such as loss of profit, of orders or of customers, or harm to your reputation;
- we are not liable for the services of third parties (delivery companies, payment providers, advertising platforms, Telegram, hosting and network operators), for your products and your sales, or for events beyond our control;
- our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service during the twelve months before the event that caused it.
Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to limit, in particular for fraud or gross negligence.
You will compensate Grandify for claims by third parties (customers, rights holders, authorities) arising from your products, your content, your sales or your breach of these terms or of the law.
16Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Algerian law. In case of a disagreement, write to us first at support@grandify-dz.com so that we look for an amicable solution together. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent Algerian courts.
17Changes
We may change these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. We tell you in advance, in the app or by e-mail, of any important change. If you do not accept it, you can stop using the service before it applies; continuing to use it afterwards means that you accept the new terms.
